In my opinion sterner laws should be invoked for poaching. If more money can be obtained then there could be a more effective system of monitoring for these areas where poaching is heaviest. You see on TV and in the media please from organizations for help with this issue constantly. Many times people turn a blind eye/ear to these please because we want to shut out the bad and only of the good things in life. I believe if everyone took responsibility for the plight of those who cannot help themselves we could put an end to poaching once and for all. Not everyone can get out in the field and save a rhino but we can all help with donations, laws and political support to those who are getting out in the field. We all need to be aware of what we are buying at all times. Read a label make sure it was not made with ivory or bone or skins of animals. Make a difference!
"In many cases, the people who traffic these (animal) products are the same people who sell illegal drugs, weapons and even humans. But the consequences for selling wildlife products are far less severe," notes Jonathan Baillie, director of conservation programs at the Zoological Society of London.
